Lived-in color is a low-maintenance, dimensional color technique designed to grow out softly and naturally. It blends highlights, depth, and tone so you don’t get harsh lines as your hair grows—meaning fewer appointments and effortless, beautiful color between visits.

Nobody wants to be at the salon ALL day. Over the years I have had extensive training to be fast, yet efficient so you can move on with your day feeling and looking your best! Most color appointments range from 1.5 to 3.5 hours, depending on the service and your hair goals. Haircuts typically take about 30- 40 mins for men and 45–60 minutes for women.

Scalp facials range from 60 min sessions to 2.5 hr sessions. I always build in time to ensure your service feels relaxed, not rushed.

It is exactly what it sounds like! a facial or your scalp. A relaxing and rejuvenating experience combining exfoliation, massage, addressing everything from dryness to thinning and more.

A scalp facial treatment has multiple benefits including improved hair growth, hydration and balance, inflammation reduction, stress relief and so much more.

I suggest every 6-8 weeks for optimal results. Memberships are on the horizon for repeat visits!

Literally anyone. If you have a scalp you’re a candidate! Whether you have no hair, thin hair, thick textured hair we’ve got you covered!

Scalp facials are also particularly beneficial to those with extensions as well. I recommend one between move ups for tape in and handed extensions.

Image studios has retail parking in the back of the 44 south building. If those lots are full, you can park in the retail garage in the 44 building as well.

Color services- I know you love to leave looking cute but accidents happen. I will give you a color smock and cape to protect you from color stains but dont chance it with your Sundays best!

Scalp facials: Comfy clothes! yoga pants, short sleeve shirt, light makeup or no makeup please!

Color clients- the color will penetrate better when it’s clean. I recommend washing the night before your appt

Scalp facials- Please do NOT come with clean hair to your appt. It isn’t necessary. The idea is to see your scalp in its normal condition. We also don’t want to irritate it by over cleansing and exfoliating. Plus, the before and after photos will be so satisfying!

I use and recommend high-quality, results-driven products that support both scalp and hair health. Clean, non toxic products are very important to me. I’ll always suggest what’s best for your specific needs so you can maintain your look at home in between appts.

Yes—this is actually a big part of what makes The Root Room different. I take a holistic approach to hair, meaning we can address scalp health, shedding, dryness, or buildup alongside your cut and color for better long-term results.

It is not recommended to do on the same day, as it might be too much for the scalp and hair and cause sensitivities. I recommend waiting at least 2 weeks in-between.
